LATTICE80, Marvelstone Group backed Global FinTech Hub kick starts FinTech Experiential Attachment Programme

Singapore, March 7, 2018 — Global Fintech Hub LATTICE80 signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with Nanyang Polytechnic mid last year in 2017 to offer a first-of-its-kind Financial Technology (FinTech) experience programme for its year 1 and 2 students.

LATTICE80 will become the first educational partner for Nanyang Polytechnic, offering students the opportunity to work directly in the FinTech ecosystem with government bodies, regulators, investors, and the traditional financial sector. The programme began on March 5 and has currently admitted 2 students from the Fund Management and Administration Diploma Course. This 3-4 weeks internship progamme provides these 2 students the opportunity to work on cutting-edge finance and technology infrastructure on a global scale. They will be personally mentored by Joe Seunghyun Cho, Founding CEO of LATTICE80 and Chairman of Marvelstone Group, and work on diverse projects with industry insights in order to explore these fields as entrepreneurs, professionals or regulators.

Our innovative joint programme will encourage industry-academia collaborations within the FinTech industry to raise awareness and understanding of the emerging field of FinTech. The 2 interns will be contributing to the FinTech database globally and be exposed to trends in the form of disruptive financial technologies such as the blockchain, cryptocurrencies, smart contracts, Big Data and other developments.

LATTICE80 is a Global Fintech Hub building an ecosystem for fintech startups, corporates/financial institutions, governments, and the public to collaborate, learn, and co-create. LATTICE80 opened the World’s largest Fintech hub in Singapore in Nov 2016 and is planning to open several branches in Europe and Asia in 2018. The project is backed by Marvelstone Group.
